Operating system for scale-ups
An operating system for scale-ups is software that makes the way a growing company is run explicit and visible. It brings strategy, priorities, KPIs per employee, and the working rhythm together in one system, so that the organization runs on that structure instead of on the founder.
It differs from a project tool and from a method. A project tool like Asana or Monday organizes tasks, but leaves running the company up to you. A method like EOS or Scaling Up gives you a framework on paper, but it doesn't run itself. An operating system sits in between: it comes with an opinionated rhythm that flexes with your company, and it makes visible who is working on what.
The core problem it solves is visibility. As you grow, the overview that once fit inside the founder's head disappears. An operating system takes that overview out of that head and shares it, which means you need fewer layers of management and leaders can coach instead of monitor.
